2. General Information on Data Processing
We take the protection of your personal data very seriously and treat your personal data confidentially and in accordance with the statutory data protection regulations and this privacy policy.

Recipients and transfers to third countries
We only disclose personal data to the extent described in this privacy policy. The main recipient is our hosting and email provider IONOS SE, which acts as our processor (Section 5). Data is not transferred to countries outside the European Union or the European Economic Area.
Storage period
We only store personal data for as long as is necessary for the respective purpose or as required by statutory retention obligations (e.g. under Section 257 of the German Commercial Code (HGB) or Section 147 of the German Fiscal Code (AO)). We state the specific periods for each processing operation.
Obligation to provide data
You can use this website without actively providing us with any personal data. The connection data described in Section 5 is generated for technical reasons when you access the website. Whether you provide us with any further data, for example by email, is up to you (Section 4).
Automatic language selection
If you open our home page directly (not via a link on this website), a small script in your browser uses the time zone and language set on your device to decide whether you see the German or the English version: outside Germany, Austria, Switzerland and Liechtenstein without a German language setting, we redirect you to the English version, otherwise to the German one. This information is evaluated locally in your browser only; it is not transmitted to us or to any third parties and is not stored, and no cookies are set. You can choose the other version at any time using the language switcher.
No automated decision-making
No automated decision-making, including profiling, within the meaning of Art. 22 GDPR takes place.
3. Cookies & Consent Management
Consent management (our own solution)
We use a self-operated solution to obtain and manage your consent. No data is transferred to third parties in the process. On your first visit, a notice about cookies appears, which you can accept or reject. We only use strictly necessary cookies; we do not use any analytics, tracking or marketing services (Section 6). The notice therefore only lists the ‘Strictly necessary’ category (always active, only stores your decision).
We store your decision in the cookie entac_consent in your browser. It contains only your decision, a timestamp and a version number, and is deleted after 12 months. The cookie is strictly necessary so that the notice does not reappear every time a page is loaded (Section 25(2) no. 2 of the German Telecommunications Digital Services Data Protection Act, TDDDG). The legal basis for the associated processing is our legitimate interest in a user-friendly website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
Changing your choice
We do not currently use any optional cookies or services. Should we use such services in future, we will obtain your express consent beforehand (Section 25(1) TDDDG, Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR) and update this privacy policy. You can change your choice in the notice at any time: . The link is also available in the footer of every page.
4. Contact by Email
You can reach us by email at info@entac.de. If you write to us, the information you provide will be processed in order to deal with your request.
Contact card on our website
On our home page, you can use “Write an email” to open your own email program. It opens an empty email to our address; you decide on the subject line and content yourself. With “Copy address”, you can copy our email address to your device’s clipboard. Both take place locally in your browser only: no data is transmitted to us or to any third parties, no cookies are set and no information is stored in your browser. Which email program opens depends on the settings of your device. We only process the email that you send us yourself, as described in this section.
Data collected
We process your email address, the information you provide (e.g. name, company, content of your message) and the time of receipt.
Processing and recipients
Your email is received in our mailbox info@entac.de. The mailbox is operated by our hosting and email provider IONOS SE as a processor (Section 5). Your data is not disclosed to any other third parties.
Purpose and legal basis
We process your information in order to deal with and answer your request. If your enquiry is aimed at concluding a contract or at pre-contractual measures, the legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR. For all other enquiries, the processing is based on our legitimate interest in answering enquiries addressed to us (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
Storage period
We delete your enquiry once it has been dealt with conclusively and no further queries are to be expected, but no later than six months after its handling has been completed. This does not apply if a contractual relationship arises from the enquiry or if statutory retention obligations (e.g. under Section 257 HGB or Section 147 AO) require longer storage.
Objection and erasure
You can object to the further processing of your information at any time by sending an email to info@entac.de. We will then stop dealing with your request and delete your information, unless a statutory retention obligation prevents this.

IONOS privacy policy (in German)
IONOS is a processor within the meaning of Art. 28 GDPR and processes the data exclusively in accordance with our instructions on the basis of a data processing agreement. The personal data collected on our website is stored on IONOS servers in Germany. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in providing our website securely and reliably (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) and, where you send us an enquiry, Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR.
Server log files
The hosting provider automatically collects information in server log files: browser type, operating system, referrer URL, requested page or file, IP address and time of the server request. This data is not combined with other data sources. The purpose is to provide the website securely and without disruption and to detect and fend off attacks. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR; our legitimate interest lies in these purposes. According to IONOS, the IP addresses in the log files are anonymised and the log files are deleted after eight weeks at the latest.
6. Analytics & External Services
No analytics or tracking services
We do not use any analytics, tracking or marketing services on this website (e.g. Google Analytics). No usage profiles are created, and no data is transferred to third parties for analytics or advertising purposes.
Fonts and libraries (hosted locally)
The Inter typeface and all scripts, stylesheets and icons of this website are loaded directly from our server. No connection is established to third-party servers (e.g. Google Fonts or content delivery networks).

Where we process your data on the basis of legitimate interests (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR), you have the right to object to this processing at any time on grounds relating to your particular situation. We will then no longer process your data unless we can demonstrate compelling legitimate grounds for the processing which override your interests, rights and freedoms, or the processing serves the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims. No particular form is required for an objection; the easiest way is to send an email to info@entac.de.
